Getting the Most out of Responder

Are you getting the most out of Responder Pro or Responder Field Edition?

HBGary offers hands-on, instructor-led Responder Pro training in two locations; on the East Coast in Tyson's Corner, VA, and on the West Coast in San Francisco, CA. The course is expertly led by an instructor who is a PhD candidate, and expert in malware analysis, reverse-engineering and software development. The class always receives glowing reviews, and sets a pace which enables the student to learn, experiment with the product, and ask questions. Upon completion of the course, the student is eligible for 24 CPE credits through ISC2.

For Responder Field Edition, we offer a self-paced computer-based training focusing on the forensics capability of the Responder product, including using FastDump Pro to capture live memory in a forensically-sound manner for analysis, collecting evidence and reporting. Students access the training through a website hosting the content, and receive a copy of Responder Field with a one-year license for a bundled price of $979. Using Responder Field, the student works off-line and at their own pace to complete the training. Included in the training are four memory images for use with the guided, hands-on labs, as well as quizzes to complete each of the six modules. Upon completion of the course, the student is eligible for 16 CPE credits through ISC2.

In the near future, we will be offering an Advanced Responder Pro class, which will include topics such as data exfiltration, DDOS and hooking and stealth, among other topics. The class should be available around December, 2011. For more information, please check in regularly to our training page for class offerings and dates.
